Sunrise Didn't Change

I love the sunrise.
This
we know.

I looked up sunrise and sunset times
today and tomorrow. 

I learned tomorrow
is
darker
than today. 

Even after Solstice. 

Yet,
we've gotten eight more minutes of daylight
in these eight days.

Still, sunrise hasn't changed.

Always said I am not a poet.
But if I break up
my thoughts
and non sequitirs
into separate lines
without
punctuation
